If you took a look at the Xbox conference on Sunday evening, then you should have seen the excellent Forza Horizon 5 which will soon be offered an extension dedicated to Hot Wheels. Here is a really nice excerpt.

Extra, but paying

Forza Horizon 5 was released late last year and everyone agreed: it is one of the best racing games of this generation and a considerable weapon for Microsoft. So many good reasons for the American company to maintain its baby over time, at least until the next episode or until the next Forza Motorsport (which, on the other hand, turns out to be oriented towards simulation and not towards the arcade , do not forget it).

To do this, the developers at Playground Games have concocted a very first expansion that will bring the famous Hot Wheels franchise back into the automotive experience… and within the rules. We will find some of the toy manufacturer’s emblematic racing cars, as well as the famous orange tracks that fly in all directions. A real delirium.

Dizzying gameplay in 4K

To give water to the mouth of possible interested parties, Microsoft therefore held a small presentation through a showcase of a few minutes, on the occasion of the Summer Game Fest. A video animated by a few people including developers and which sets the tone: the DLC will feature completely crazy races at very high altitudes.

A real breath of fresh air for a game whose adventure originally wanted to take us through a virtual Mexico more real than life: note however that this is not the first time that Hot Wheels is invited in the franchise since Forza Horizon 3 had already received similar additional content.
