After State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves last year, Forza Horizon 4 is the next game from the Xbox Game Studios team to break free from the Microsoft Store to land on Steam. Playground Games just shared the news during the Forza Monthly livestream, in which the studio also unveiled the Hot Wheels Legends car pack.

Originally released in October 2018 on PC (via the Microsoft Store) and Xbox One, Forza Horizon 4 will be available on Steam from March 9 at a price not yet specified. The title being cross-play compatible, Steam players will be able to walk the roads alongside users of other platforms. Much like Sea of Thieves, which is one of the biggest hits of 2020 on Steam, its arrival on the Valve platform should give it a significant new boost.

Open-world racing game located in the United Kingdom, Forza Horizon 4 has hosted two expansions (Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions) since its launch, but also many updates including the addition of the battle royale mode The Eliminator and the creative Super7. Next new: the Hot Wheels Legends pack, which will unlock a set of six cars based on the famous toy brand, with which Microsoft had already partnered for the Hot Wheels expansion of Forza Horizon 3. This new DLC will be available on February 11 for $ 10 or via the Ultimate Edition of the game.
