While Forspoken is still struggling to find its audience, the next DLC just got a release date.
Forspoken: the flop of the beginning of the year dates its DLC
Not so long ago, the CEO of Square Enix took the floor to discuss the sales of the title. no real surprise Yosuke Matsuda called them “mediocre” and explained that this could create “a risk of a considerable drop in income for this financial year”. We also learned of the dissolution of the Luminous Productions teams, which will soon be merged with the editorial staff.
That being said, the developers don’t want to completely give up on their baby yet. Afterwards, We learned that the “In Tanta We Trust” DLC is still under construction and will arrive on May 26th.
Plot-wise, this expansion will serve as a prequel to the main setting and will be set nearly 25 years earlier. Once again we will accompany Frey on a rather mysterious quest that will lead her to the purge of Rheddig.the fateful battle that led to the destruction of Athia and the madness that afflicts the Tantas.
During your visit you will be accompanied by Tanta Cinta and you can enjoy new combat abilities and new environments.
As a reminder, Forspoken is available from January 24 on PC and PS5, while the “In Tanta We Trust” DLC will be released on May 26 then on these same platforms.
