Formula E has announced that the Accelerate esports tournament will return in 2023, and this will see the best teams from around the world compete for a share of a €40,000 prize pool.
The championship will kick off properly this weekend at the Berlin E-Prix, which will see 22 previously qualified competitors go head-to-head at the Gaming Arena at the Allianz Fan Village in Germany, and see two rounds of competition come to an end.
This will be followed by the next double slate of rounds at the Rome E-Prix race weekend on July 15-16, which will see drivers looking to earn a place in the 2023 Accelerate Championship Live Finals, which will take place at the London E-Prix at the ExCel Arena on July 29-30.
Formula E has also revealed that it will also host an influencer-led series which will see 11 influencers compete and represent Formula E teams in a variety of competitive content that will help Formula E teams win the Accelerate Teams Championship. . This will be known as Accelerate AMPED and will also be played at the Berlin, Rome and London E-Prix.
