A ton of details about Kung Fu Panda 4 were announced at this year’s CinemaCon, including its director and the plot of the upcoming animated movie.
Michael Mitchellknown for his work on The Lego Movie 2, Trolls, and The SpongeBob Movie: Out of Water, will helm Kung Fu Panda 4. Plot-wise, Po’s journey seems to take a different turn this time around, as he is looking for a successor to the Dragon Warrior title he holds himself.
To do this, he leaves the Valley of Peace and travels to what can only be described as “the big city”, where he encounters El Camaleón, who might be his greatest enemy yet, as the villain has the ability to become one of Po’s former enemies.
It looks like there’s plenty to get excited about, but we’ll still have to wait a while to see Kung Fu Panda 4, as the movie is slated for release in 2024.
