Love is in the air and Overwatch 2 is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a new event: Ultimate Valentine! Compete in a new brawl in the Arcade, earn new cosmetic items in special event challenges, and prepare for a dating simulation adventure to become the perfect match for Genji or Mercy.
Date with Genji or Mercy in AmorWatch
For the first time, we’re bringing a new interactive experience to the Overwatch universe with AmorWatch: love never dies. AmorWatch is a short non-story dating sim in which you’ll accompany Genji or Mercy to romantic locations inspired by Overwatch maps. Get exclusive titles to show your love for your date and discover jokes, surprises and a secret ending based on how you behave with your date.
Participate in AmorWatch and get free in-game rewards like Hanzo’s Cupid’s Kiss Highlight Play and cute titles that will be automatically added to your account in a future patch. Additionally, you will be able to purchase the new featured game as part of a bundle from the in-game store. If you get the featured game before purchase, you will get a discount on the bundle.
AmorWatch will be available until February 28 on AmorWatch.gg. This experience is optimized for almost all web browsers. It is not compatible with most non-desktop devices and browsers.
For “the Love of Geometry”
We bring you a fight for love with the new Love for Geometry PvP Brawl. This Team Deathmatch brawl pits teams of four Hanzo Cupids against each other to determine who is the ultimate love team.
The best part of all is that Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow ability returns to whoever throws it! Scatter Arrow bounces and splits in different directions. We’ve brought it back for this nice LTM and think it’s perfect for players to experience Hanzo’s love of geometry.
Plus, you’ll be surprised when you unleash Hanzo’s ultimate Dragon Strike. We are sure you will fall in love!
Hanzo Cupid go get your heart
During this temporary event, you can pick up the new Legendary Hanzo Cupid skin from the store! It’s inspired by different depictions of Cupid, and our art team had fun balancing something romantic, divine, cute, and, of course, heroic.
Hanzo Cupid has many unique details. He features heart designs on his quiver and shoes, incorporates tech art into his wings (they flutter as he leaps through the air), adds heart visuals to each arrow fired, and has lots of fun sound effects . We can’t wait for players to get their hands on this highly requested skin!
