The English version of Fairy Fencer F: Chorus Chord received a final release date in North America and Europe. In both regions, it will be available on April 25, 2023.
Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord was already released on Switch in Japan last September. We received confirmation of a Spring 2023 release in the West as part of the localization announcement a few months ago.
Long ago, the Goddess gave people knowledge and civilization flourished. They built towers that reached into the heavens and a weapon so powerful it could pierce the gods themselves. However, this civilization was decimated shortly after a violent conflict between the Goddess and the Infamous God. Ages have passed since then. Our story begins with a young man named Fang who has become a fencer, a swordsman who has the ability to wield a special fairy-imbued weapon known as Fury. Along with his companions, Fang embarks on a journey to find the Furies and resurrect the Goddess.
One day he meets a woman who can save people with her song and another who can brainwash people with her song. Along with the mysterious power of women who call themselves Muses, Fang’s destiny begins to unfold…
FFF tactics? – Strategy to capitalize on with an all new RPG tactical combat system! Use terrain and objects like rocks, boxes, and grass to your advantage. Strategic positioning on the battlefield can increase your evasion ability or slow your movement speed, among other effects. Additionally, the Avalanche Attack and Fairize combat mechanics are back!
Fairies, fencers, furies… and muses? – With the introduction of the two Muses, new combat mechanics are at your disposal. Use the power of her song to empower your allies, or combine the two area of effect boosts for an even more DRAMATIC boost! But be careful, enemies in the area can also take advantage of it.
Fairies, places and hidden treasures! – Innovate with this new version of “World Shaping”. With “Shape Location”, use the Furies collected by stabbing them at various locations on the world map. This can unlock items, hidden locations, or even fairies. Activate a chain to stab more locations without using your limited location energy!
A brand new story with multiple routes! – Follow Fang and his friends through multiple routes in this all-new story, as they continue their quest for the Furies to resurrect the Goddess. Will you find harmony or dissonance when fate is in your hands?
