Only a few days ago Elden Ring has already celebrated its first anniversary. With over 20 million copies sold worldwide, FromSoftware’s latest game is unquestionably a real success, both critically and commercially. But while many gamers were waiting for the studio to take the opportunity to formalize a DLC, which has been the subject of many rumors for a few monthsnothing happened… In any case until today, when the big announcement finally fell!

The Elden Ring DLC ​​is finally official!

Without notice, Indeed, FromSoftware has announced The Shadow of the World Tree, a future extension for Elden Ring currently in development.. But sadly, that’s all we’ll have to iron out for now, as the developers haven’t revealed any specific details yet. All we know is that this DLC will include “new adventures in the underworld”and that we can glimpse it very slightly through the first image that was shared to accompany the announcement.

In this point, We don’t even know until the latter’s release window, which hasn’t even been confirmed for 2023. We will therefore have to continue to take our problems patiently for a while longer, even if this formalization is already something to delight the many fans of the game. As a reminder, Elden Ring is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Many months ago, the title had already received a major free update introducing the Colosseum, a PvP mode.
