Ubisoft is another publisher that won’t officially appear at E3 2023.

Ubisoft will not appear at E3 2023. Contrary to what the French publisher announced last month, the company has decided to organize a separate show in Los Angeles with an episode of Ubisoft Forward, scheduled for June 12.

Nothing more was said in the statements to Video Games Chronicle, at least in terms of specific information. We don’t know why Ubisoft “changed management” (as company officials put it). At the moment, we do not know the position of the organizers of E3 2023 in this regard, nor the calendar of the event of the French company.

The publisher of the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry series is another industry giant that won’t be featured at this year’s edition of the biggest fair for game enthusiasts. We’ve known for a long time that the event likely won’t feature Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony.

Another thing is that the event organizer, ReedPop, is in no rush to reveal the list of attendees. It is therefore possible that other well-known publishers like Activision Blizzard, Bandai Namco, Devolver Digital and Square Enix will show up at E3 2023.

It should also be noted that players don’t care. The Ubisoft show will still take place during (but not as part of) the showand probably this year’s EA Play Live show.

  1. Essential information about E3 2023

Passionate about video games (and others) for years, he completed an MBA in linguistics, defending a thesis on games. He started his adventure with GlobeLiveMedia in 2015, writing in the editorial department, then also covering movies and oh, horror! – technology (also a contributor to the Games Encyclopedia). He started with platform games, which he still loves (including metroidvania), but he also likes card games (including “analog” games), fighting games, soul games and virtually any other kind of game. Don’t ask about the graphics: after a few hours of exposure, you can revel in pixelated game characters reminiscent of the days of the Game Boy era (if not older).
