Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 is coming to Switch, it has been revealed. The game is expected to release later on May 25, 2023.

If this title sounds familiar to you, it’s because the original Don’t Feed the Monkeys previously appeared on Switch. It ended on console in 2020.

As for the new game, here’s what you can expect:

You have been invited to join the Primate Observation Club. Live according to your heart’s desire as a new member and if you’re already in the Club, it’s time to move up the ranks.

Observe the monkeys behind the cages from the comfort of your own home, save money with your side jobs, and maybe even play the role of a divine being by manipulating the lives of your subjects. Don’t hesitate any longer, it’s time to make 2099 your year!

It’s the year 2099 and extraterrestrial knowledge has caused rapid advances in technology to the point that big corporations are now sponsoring planets. Devoid of resources, Earth is now a wasteland and humanity has spread throughout the galaxy. Humans, robots and aliens now live side by side.

The MonkeyVision app helps you manage hidden cameras and surveillance cages. Make observations and search the Internet to learn more about each topic. Do you need more cameras? Get side jobs for cash while avoiding the eccentric conspiracy theorist next door.

Learn about the topics and you may have the opportunity to interact with them. Hack security systems, make threatening phone calls, or even add your own flavor to an unusual drink. But forget all that, because it’s against Club rules!

For Alumni Club members, you’ll notice that we’ve also added some community-requested features beyond the new gameplay experience.

One OmniPal: Gone are the days of solitary surveillance. OmniPals are artificial intelligences represented by holograms that act as business promoters. OmniPals are another window to the outside world and can offer other mysterious features.

End Game Content – Once you complete the game, exciting new features such as the ability to fast forward will become available. Who knows what other rewards await you!

A peephole – peepholes are not standard equipment, but you can eventually get one. Watch who is knocking on your door before you decide to open it.
