However, this delicious treat also requires a new fruit with the Pride of the Valley update: dreamy light fruit. - 1 time dreamy light fruit
Once you’ve made Dream Ice Cream for the first time, the recipe will be added to the Meals section of your Collections tab and will appear in the Desserts section of your recipe list when you’re at a cooking station.

Gathering the materials to create Dream Ice Cream will take some effort, as all three ingredients are locked behind the character’s quest progress. There are two different sets of quests you will need to have completed to buy Melting Ice and Milk, and another set of quests before the Dreamlight Fruit Tree is planted in your valley. How to Unlock the Milk Ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Progressing through this questline requires a variety of tasks after building Remy’s famous restaurant, Chez Remy. At the end of his questline, you will unlock new ingredients on the special shelf inside his restaurant and you can purchase an unlimited amount of Slush Ice for 150 Star Coins each. You can increase your friendship level with Remy by gifting his favorite items and completing tasks in the valley with him as a partner.
How to Unlock Dreamlight Fruit Ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The final ingredient needed to make a delicious Dream Ice Cream Cone is dreamy light fruit. This wild fruit was added in the Pride of the Valley update and requires completing a series of specific quests for the lion king himself, Simba, available once you reach friendship level 7. Of course , you will first need to welcome him to Simba in the Valley by completing the questline starting with “Stars to Guide Us” in The Lion King Kingdom. The Kingdom of the Lion King costs 10,000 Dreamlights to unlock.

Once you unlock Simba, you will need to increase your friendship level with him to level 7, then a new quest line called “Seed of Memories” will unlock. After completing a few tasks, including collecting Dreamlight Seeds from Vitalys Mines, you will be able to plant and nurture a Dreamlight Fruit Tree that will eventually and steadily produce the fruit you need to cook Dream Ice Cream.
