The video focuses on demonstrating Link’s new abilities. At the beginning we see how to get to the sky islands, which are an important part of Tears of the Kingdom. For this, for example, the ability called “remember” will be used, thanks to which the protagonist reverses the movement of objects, such as stones that have fallen from the sky.
Another interesting ability is “fuse” – the possibility of combining objects, including environment elements. Thanks to this, for example, from a simple stick and a rock, Link will create a powerful mace. Such a talent will also make archery easier, for example, combining arrows with a monster eye will cause projectiles to point at the target.
With this ability in Tears of the Kingdom Link can also create his own mode of transport. – The process of building a raft has been demonstrated in-game. Another new ability is “climb”, which will speed up movement. Thanks to it you will be able to cross the roofs of buildings and caves, among other things.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will debut on May 12, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch console. It is the first Nintendo game priced at $69.99.
