Its predecessor was released in 2012, and for a long time the publisher was content to release new content for the game, just to keep players coming back.
Diablo 3 is currently gearing up for its 28th season and it could very well be its last as resources and development begin to shift to its successor. Now players have received a more complete analysis of the new world they will explore.
Earlier this month, the publisher revealed Diablo 4 open beta dates and began revealing new promotional material for the game. Today, Activision Blizzard released a new video describing the world of Sanctuary . Game makers talked about the world itself, which is mostly divided into five different areas.
One would be mainly made up of sand dunes, another is inspired by Scotland, while the third is inspired by the Carpathians. There is an additional region described as a mountainous desert region, while another is swampy territory to the south. The video also breaks down the new enemies and what players can do in the world.
