The Diablo IV beta has whetted the appetites of infernal hack’n’slash fans, but Blizzard has yet to reveal all of its cards (or even half of its legendary powers).

It was probably thought that the Diablo IV beta showed most of the attractions prepared by the developers. After all, players could only watch the first act, and only 25 of the 100 levels had to be completed in the full version.

However, it may be surprising to learn that in beta testing, we didn’t even see half of the legendary powers of Diablo IV. This news came from Joseph Piepiora, the game’s CEO, during a discussion on Blood.

Initially, the developer wrote that Players probably don’t realize how many “weird, exciting, and perfectly balanced” powers will appear in the full game compared to the open beta. It was only in response to a question from a netizen that he clarified that during testing, “the Codex of Power contained less than half of all existing legendary powers” of the fourth Devil.

Piepiora’s statement sparked a lot of interest among fans, though the developer didn’t see fit to address other issues raised by Twitter users.

Diablo IV Premiere will take place on June 6 and the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
