As Diablo 4 returns to the shadows after an exciting beta campaign, one of the action RPG’s best loot features is similar to World of Warcraft, Blizzard’s ever-expanding epic MMORPG.

I’m a hoarder, it’s true. As I roamed Diablo 4 beta dungeons, killing enemies and collecting tons of awesome gear, I found myself constantly overloaded and wishing for a bigger backpack. While Diablo 4 lacks the Tetris-like inventory of Diablo 2, I constantly run into too gear, especially since Legendary drop rates also increased this weekend.

While I avidly collect all the legendary items I can, it’s easy to overlook them or toss them out of your inventory to make room by mistake. Luckily, the developers thought of that and borrowed one of World of Warcraft’s best features to make sure you don’t miss a thing (cue Aerosmith).

As spotted by u/Japi-21 on Reddit, if you lose a legendary item while hunting, it will be sent to you automatically. You’ll be able to access it through your inn room hideout (the huge treasure chest), where it appears in the “lost and found” tab.

It works similarly to the WoW Postmaster, an NPC who is responsible for dispatching any items that could not be assigned because your inventory was full. Destiny 2 has a similar feature, so it’s great to see the developers implementing something similar in Diablo 4.

The comments on the thread agree, with one player writing that he “thinks it’s an awesome feature”, while another noting that it’s perfect for those times when you “disconnect before you can pick up the booty”.

It’s a small change, but it’s one of many that brings the classic dungeon crawler into the modern age. devil 4 feel as an update. He feel like something new for the historic series, and that’s one of the things that makes it so exciting.

If you haven’t set foot in the desolate world of Sanctuary yet, be sure to check out our Diablo 4 gameplay preview for a window into the game’s tortured universe. If you’ve been playing all weekend, be sure to check out everything we know about the Diablo 4 release date. Admit it, Lilith has got you covered, right? I won’t tell anyone, I promise.
