If you haven’t dipped into Diablo 3 Season 28 yet, you might want to jump at the chance, as Blizzard says future seasons won’t be as extensive as the team is focusing on what’s next with the Diablo 3 release coming soon. Devil 4. go. The now ten-year-old RPG remains one of Blizzard’s best, following a major overhaul that overhauled Diablo 3 on a large scale after arriving to an initially frosty reception.

I’ve been playing the last season of Diablo 3 a lot over the past two weeks. It turned out to be the perfect stopgap between the end of the Diablo 4 beta and the start of the new Path of Exile Crucible league on April 7, and I’d go so far as to suggest it might be one of the best seasons of Diablo 3 never have the game’s long history.

With the introduction of its Altar of Rites, an account-wide progression tree that applies powerful buffs to all your Season characters that greatly increase your potential, Season 28 allows you to level up and work faster than ever. Between its bonus and dual killstreak starting timer, and the starting perk that removes all item level requirements, I was able to get my mage up to level 70 in no time and get to work to create the perfect set.

Now I’m putting the finishing touches on the build, traversing increasingly difficult Upper Rifts in a barrage of meteors in my Tal Rasha outfit, and it’s been a terrific start to the game. Unfortunately for those of you who aren’t ready to move on just yet, it looks like a send off might be exactly what it is.

In a group interview with Wowhead, Blizzard’s Diablo General Manager Rod Fergusson clarified that while Diablo 3 Season 29 will have a new seasonal theme, it “won’t be as rich as Season 28.” After that, Season 30 and beyond will be iterations pulled from previous seasons, with “a mix of previous cosmetic items and features” to keep things a little fresh as the team shifts its efforts to Diablo 4.

It’s understandable, of course, but a bit sad: Diablo 4 is quite a different product from previous games, so I’m sure there will be players who will enjoy going back to previous games. If that’s you, then maybe set your expectations accordingly.

Make sure you are up to date with all classes in Diablo 4 before the new game is released, as Diablo 4 is releasing sooner than expected. If you want to be one step ahead of everyone planning to jump into the new entry, a Diablo 4 Skill Tree Builder is the perfect way to get your plans ready before Lilith arrives.
