The team behind the next open-road adventure dead static drive announced that the title will arrive on the first day of Xbox Game Pass, in “Q3 2024”.
The game had been announced for a while and was available to wishlist on Steam, but this is the first we’ve heard of an Xbox version, coming straight to Game Pass as well!

The team describes Dead Static Drive as “Grand Theft Cthulhu” in its attempt to marry off-road carjacking with spooky horror themes. Here’s a bit more about what they’re trying to capture:
“Dead Static Drive is a survival horror adventure. You are on the road. The world begins to crumble before you. Your friendships will make all the difference as order crumbles and the people you meet fight for their very survival. Sneak, scavenge, fight, befriend, build barricades and bunkers or steal a car and drive off into the sunset. There is no escape; there is only what you choose to do with the little time you have left.”
