CyberConnect2 has shared new details about Fugue: Melodies of Steel 2 covering the characters and the game world. This information drop precedes the release of the title in just a few months.
Characters
Montblanc Chick – VA: Natsumi Haruse / Age: 7 / Dog
Hack’s twin sister. She sees Hanna as the ideal woman and aspires to be kind and sensitive to the needs of others like her. Maybe that’s why he’s trying to stop Hack’s pranks.
Hack Montblanc – VA: Tomomi Mizuma / Age: 7 / Dog
Chick’s twin brother. A lively and turbulent boy who dreams of going on an adventure like Sucre, the comic book hero he reads. Aside from his lofty goals, he always resorts to childish pranks on others.
Sheena Falafel – VA: Noriko Shitaya / Age: 10 / Feline
Despite the disdain she once had for her powers, Sheena now uses magic freely and works tirelessly to master all sorts of new spells. Once quiet and aloof, she now expresses her personality and opinions clearly with her friends.
Jin Macchiato – VA: Yukihiro Nozuyama / Edad: 12 / Caninu
While honing his skills at the factory he inherited from his father, Jin learned to play machines with finesse and confidence. He also showed emotional maturity by understanding and accepting those he once hated for.
Wappa Charlotte – VA: Hiyori Nitta / Age: 9 / Dog
Wappa has made it his task to travel alone through the reclaimed lands of Gasco, professing his ideals of love and peace. She is still the life of the party, and the self-appointed leader of the party to boot.
Britz Strudel – VA: Yuichi Iguchi / Age: 10 / Dog
Having finally found a peaceful life with her mother and sister, Britz looked firm and determined, while maintaining her sweetness. His goal is to mediate to repair the diplomacy between Berman and Gasco.
The World of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2
After their home was destroyed by a calamity a year ago, the people of Gasco developed airship technology to traverse the new floating archipelago.
Gasco, the broken continent
The calamitous event of the previous year caused the continent to fragment and split into several groups of floating islands. The position of each region changed drastically due to stormy air currents.
Pharaoh
Following the fragmentation of Gasco, the industrial city of Pharaoh, which had suffered the least destruction from being nestled in the mountains, became the new capital in place of Paresia. The Gasco army headquarters was also moved here.
Port
A chain of facilities built as interconnecting terminals for aircraft, the primary mode of transportation after the Gasco breakup. Currently they are only built on larger islands, but over time they can soon be found all over the country.
Like the previous game, upon completion, Chapters 1-11 feature an ending card illustrated by one of a roster of talented artists. We hope you can’t wait to see the world of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 through his eyes!
