Toy maker Mattel and Warner Bros. released the second trailer for their upcoming movie Barbie, which allows us to take a look at the life, in principle idyllic, of the iconic doll that Margot Robbie embodies in flesh and blood (and in high heels) to perfection. It also introduces us to Ken, Barbie’s love interest, played by Ryan Gosling. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig and co-written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
Fans of the doll can’t wait to see Barbie on the big screen, and she’s already expected to be a blockbuster, and could usher in a new era for the beloved doll. The Barbie movie has been in development for several years and is set to hit theaters on July 21. Watch the video and let us know what you think.
