In the current simracing scene, there is a name that attracts all eyes and with which most international competitions are held: Assetto Corsa. The car simulator Kunos simulations there 505 Games is proud to have brought the excitement and thrill of racing and competition to the screens of gamers around the world since 2014 and to have been the standard title in esports racing since 2018. Many were already clamoring for a sequel which would bring the experience to the next level. And today, we finally have an idea of when we can expect it.
According to a financial report from Digital Bros (the owning company of 505 Games), “Assetto Corsa ‘Second Version’ is slated for release. spring 2024.”
At the moment it is not mentioned in the documents if this Assetto Corsa 2 will carry the Competition also in the title or if we will have to wait for a later version of this other episode. What is clear is that the simulators need to be greased, because it’s time to change cars next year.
