But as they prepare for one last big party, it becomes clear that something terrifying pursues them in this interactive slasher horror flick. You can play alone and get The Quarry’s best ending, but the horror game is perhaps best experienced with friends. You can play online with everyone voting at crucial decision points or with each other in the same room, passing controller to whoever chooses to take control of that character. David Arquette stars as Chris, the owner and operator of Hackett’s Quarry summer camp. Since Chris is also a law enforcement officer, this role is similar to that of Arquette’s most famous character: Deputy Dewey Riley from the Scream series. In TV sitcoms like My Name is Earl and Friends, he also appears in unique roles. Wrestling fans may know him from the movie Ready to Rumble and as WCW’s most infamous World Heavyweight Champion.
Laura, played by Siobhan Williams, an aspiring vet who just wants to hang out this summer with her boyfriend Max, is one of nine teenage counselors who stay to party at Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp. Willams has had various television roles since she started acting in 2010. Her most notable role to date, however, is as Elsa in Welcome to Marwen opposite Steve Carell and Gwendoline Christie.
Skyler Gisondo is Laura’s boyfriend, Max, a bit of a slacker with little ambition. Gisondo has appeared in a few Hollywood blockbusters, with a recurring role in The Amazing Spider-Man films as Howard Stacy. He also starred in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and more recently appeared in TV series such as The Righteous Gemstones and Fairfax.
Travis is the gruff sheriff of the small town of North Kill. Ted Raimi provides his voice and image, and if that last name sounds familiar, you’ll be pleased to know that he appears frequently in films directed by his brother, Sam Raimi. He mostly stars in one-off cameos on TV, but most will recognize him as Hoffman in the first Spider-Man trilogy and various characters from the Evil Dead series.
Emma is an aspiring actress and influencer who documents and captures her life through her phone camera, and her role as camp counselor is to lead the drama business. Emma is played by Halston Sage, who some may know as Lacey from Paper Towns, Taylor from Goosebumps, and Dazzler from X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Judge Smith plays Ryan, another of the advisers. Ryan is usually quite a loner, but in the face of imminent danger, he seeks to protect everyone he holds dear. Smith also stars in Paper Towns opposite Halston Page. His most famous roles are as Franklin Webb in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and as lead character Tim Goodman in Pokémon Detective Pikachu alongside his CGI partner Pikachu voiced by Ryan Reynolds.
Brenda Song plays Kaitlyn, the group’s de facto leader. Kaitlyn is perhaps one of the most confident members of the consulting team, although she’s not afraid to stir up trouble from time to time. Song has starred in various television roles over the past 37 years, but is best known for playing London Tipton on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Christy on The Social Network.
Zach Tinker is Jacob, the confident jock who, despite his looks, wants his fellow counselors to have a good time, especially Emma. Tinker’s acting career has mostly consisted of one-off roles, notably as Grayson in 13 Reasons Why, but he has recurring roles on two American soap operas: The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives.
Ariel Winter stars as Emma, a socially awkward teenager. However, this does not stop her, as she is a popular member of the group thanks to her artistic skills. Despite the fact that she often doodles in her sketchbook, she is desperate to have a romance before the summer is over. Winter is one of the best-known young actresses, along with Modern Family’s Alex Dunphy. She also voices Gretchen in Phineas and Ferb.
Evan Evagora is an Australian actor who plays Nick, another Hackett’s Quarry summer camp counselor. Although he struggles to let people see his more vulnerable side, Nick is a teen idol. Unlike many of her co-stars, Evagora is relatively new to acting but has a prominent role as Elnor in Star Trek: Picard.
Dylan, played by Miles Robbins, is a loose cannon in the group. Although campers and counselors love his sense of humor and his daily shows, he is secretly afraid of being rejected by his peers. Robbins is no stranger to horror movies, appearing in 2018’s Halloween alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. He is also Jackson Van De Kamp in the X-Files reboot.
Lance Henriksen stars as Jedediah, a mysterious man we currently don’t know much about. We’ve seen Lance in several alien movies. He’s Bishop in both Aliens and Aliens vs Predator, but he’s starred in several Jean Claude Van Damme films.
We also don’t know much about Constance, played by Lin Shaye, as the official website hints that they “can’t wait to meet you…”. Shaye has been acting since the 1970s, notably in horror films, her best known role being Elise Rainier in the series Insidious. She is another cast member who was in My Name is Earl and was also Magda in There Something About Mary.
Ethan Suplee is Bobby, a mysterious asshole living in the area who is also “looking forward to meeting you”. You may know Suplee from his roles in several Kevin Smith films, such as Mallrats and Chasing Amy. He is also Randy Hickey in the comedy television series My Name is Earl and Toby Welch in The Wolf of Wall Street.
Finally, we have Grace Zabriskie, who plays Eliza, another mysterious character. The only source of information we have on her is from the official website, which implies that “she knew you were coming”. You might not recognize Zabriskie from many films, but he had starring roles in Armageddon and The Grudge. However, fans of one of the greatest television series of all time, Twin Peaks, will recognize her as Sarah Palmer’s recurring character.

Mark Silverman provides some additional voices for the tutorials. He is a veteran of the animated film dubbing scene, with roles in the English dubs of Studio Ghibli films such as Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Tales from Earthsea and Howl’s Moving Castle.
Other non-main cast voices in The Quarry include Emily Axford and Grace Corvin. Emily has been on a few TV series, but you might know her best for her various roles in CollegeHumor videos and her appearances on the web series and TV show Adam Ruins Everything alongside comedian Adam Conover. His partner, Brian Murphy, who frequently appears on the same shows, plays Anton Anderson. Other voices come from JJ Dunlap, but we won’t spoil the characters he plays here. Dunlap has mostly acted in shorts, but is a setter in Legacies.
