New Fate/Grand Order The event titled “Akihabara Explosion” will arrive in the English version of the game on March 17, 2023, with Galatea joining the roster when it happens. The Japanese version of the event was held in March 2021. You must complete the game prologue “Flame Contaminated City Fuyuki” to participate in the event.

The Akihabara Explosion event introduces a new five-star minion named Galatea that can be obtained through summoning the event minion. This new minion features character design by artist Shimada Fumikane, known for his work on various anime featuring girls with mechanical accessories. Some of his art can be seen in series and games like witches strike, kantai-collectiony Protecting Alice’s Equipment. Nero Claudius in his wedding dress can also be summoned during the event and returns with a quest that grants him power.

Taking place in Akihabara, a place known for being a center of Japanese pop culture, the event revolves around a distorted version of Akihabara Tower Hall. It has been transformed into a demonic realm and challenges the player and their minions to earn shop points in an event called “Operation Shop to You Drop”. This provides a backdrop for the new event.

Completing Main Event Missions will unlock Buy Missions which can then be cleared to unlock other Main Event Missions. By completing Buy Missions, your minions will earn more bonus points than usual. For every five purchase quests completed, you will earn rewards such as a Cheldea Lantern which can be used to increase the bond limit of minions. However, minions used in workshop quests wear out and cannot be used for six hours, then they will need to rest.

You can play Fate/Grand Order now on iOS and Android devices, and Akihabara Explosion will run until March 30, 2023.
