Golbez is one of the main antagonists of final fantasy IVwho also returned in his sequel The last years. He also appeared in other games, such as the Dissension spin off. This is one of many references to FFVI In final fantasy xiv. The game also features things like minions based on the main characters, the Tower of Zot as a dungeon with the Magus Sisters as bosses, and other game references in places like the Mare Lamentorum.
final fantasy xiv is available for PS4, PS5, and PC, with 6.4 coming in late May 2023.
