The California State Tax Board announced a few days ago that it has had some delays in delivering stimulus checks due to inflation in the state, so the deadline to receive this economic stimulus would go until mid-February and not in mid-January, as had been stipulated from the beginning. To receive this financial relief, you had to file a tax return for the income earned during 2020, but what if you didn’t? In Globe Live Media we are going to explain it to you.

Although there is an exception, and this applies to those who applied for a Personal Taxpayer Identification Number, or ITIN, and did not receive it before October 15, 2021.
This stimulus check or also called the Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) is a single payment originated to provide economic relief to Californians in the midst of the high inflation that the United States has been experiencing for a year.
If you are eligible, you will receive payment automatically. Payments are expected to be issued between October 2022 and February 2023. Some taxpayers will receive their payment on a debit card. FTB has partnered with Money Network to provide distributed debit card payments.
