Who is eligible

According to the California State Franchise Tax Board, to be eligible, you must live in California on the date the payment is issued, plus the following requirements must be met:

How payments are made

If you filed your 2020 taxes electronically and received your tax refund via direct deposit, you will receive your California stimulus check via direct deposit. Otherwise, you will receive a debit card in the mail.
