A broadcast of the TV series The Last of Us on HBO would be possible for the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.

According to the Directors Guild of Canada, the production of The Last of Us, which will star comedians Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), will debut in the city of Calgary, the largest city in the Canadian province of Alberta, on July 5 and end on June 8, 2022.

The International Alliance of Stage, Theater and Film Employees (AIEST) also indicates that the television series will be produced in July.

If neither HBO, Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions or even the Naughty Dog studio have not confirmed this information (which should soon be), the Premier of Alberta, Jason Kenney, has implied that something exciting was in preparation and was going to be talked about in the coming days: “It will be, I believe, the largest film or television production in Canadian history”.

For the record, Craig Mazin, who created the famous Chernobyl series on HBO, is writing and executive production of the series with Neil Druckmann, who produced the video game The Last of Us, a license that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, 20 years after the destruction of modern civilization.
