At a time when, musically speaking, collaborations have become synonymous with success, more and more artists are deciding to step out of their comfort zone and venture out and mix genres to create new sounds and unique tracks such as “Music Session #55” by Bizarrap and Peso Pluma or “Un X100to” by Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera, which have managed to conquer the top spots on the charts.

Now, in the midst of a successful tour of the United States and Mexico, Grupo Firme has announced a new collaboration, this time with a big name in regional Mexican music, none other than Alejandro Fernández.

Through their social networks, the group led by Eduin Caz revealed that in a matter of hours they will release their next single entitled “Felicidades”, which was recorded with “El Potrillo”, generating great expectation among their fans, especially because they have already given a small preview of the lyrics, and although it could be thought to be a ballad, it is actually a song of heartbreak and quite strong: “Congratulations, you won a raffle that goes straight to fuck your mother, and in the category of nonsense there was no one to beat you”, is just a taste of one of the verses.

For his part, the singer of “Como quien pierde una estrella” said he was very excited about this new song and through his Instagram stories he warned that what is coming is a bomb: “Ni saben la que les viene”, he wrote in an image in which he can be seen toasting with Caz and that, in addition, would be part of the video clip.

When will it be released?

As well as making a big fuss, Firme and Fernández also revealed that this coming Tuesday 13 June will be the date chosen for the public to hear what the new song sounds like. Fans will be able to log on to the band’s Spotify profile or their official YouTube channel at 18:00 hours, as in addition to the single, they will also be premiering the music video.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that Caz and company have teamed up with other celebrities, as they have already shared credits with Maluma, Gerardo Coronel, Camilo, Yuri, Reik and Joss Favela.

For his part, Alejandro is not a newcomer to collaborations either; the charro has joined forces with great artists such as Christian Nodal, Natanael Cano, Maná, Christina Aguilera, Alejandro Sanz, Morat, Sebastián Yatra and La arrolladora banda El Limón.
