So Parton’s fans were thrilled when she shared a photo of the couple holding hands.

Parton wears bright pink and yellow and Dean is wearing a gray t-shirt that appears to have had a photo of his wife in PhotoShop.
“Find a partner who supports you like my Carl Dean does!” says the caption.
Fans of the star were excited to finally catch a glimpse of her husband.
“Carl Dean is super handsome!” one posted on Instagram, while another wrote, “You are all adorable. I think this may be the first time I’ve seen a photo of Carl Dean! ”
Several said that Dean was “a hottie”.
“You two make a beautiful couple,” wrote another of Parton’s followers, while one said they were “a love story for all ages.”
Others said the couple were “marital goals.”
The ‘Jolene’ Parton singer has previously revealed that she met Dean in 1964 when she was 18 years old and had just moved to Nashville.
They married in 1966 and renewed their vows in 2016 to commemorate their 50th wedding anniversary.
