Magic Eden, Solana ‘s NFT marketplace, announced that it will list non-fungible Ethereum tokens listed on other platforms initially according to Ángel Di Matteo in Diario Bitcoin.
In the near future it hopes to expand to collectibles within Ethereum and will integrate this mechanism to enable payments on Ethereum, Solana and credit cards.
At this time, the NFTs will not be in the custody of Magic Eden. However, it will begin to implement full support for its Launchpad service to create new projects and collections for later sale.
Support will start with EZU, a project with which you can create profile pictures.
Ethereum is home to the industry’s leading NFT market platforms such as OpenSea and Rarible. Magic Eden will have to make its way between these two greats, but the experts consider the decision to start with collections hosted on other platforms to avoid direct friction to be correct.
Solana has outstanding NFT collections such as Solana Monkey Business, Okay Bears, DeGods, among others.
The NFT ecosystem is currently going through a downswing after the highs seen between 2020-2021. Something that experts point to as the explosion of a financial bubble.
Solana is trading at $39.89 in the early hours of this Wednesday and the 70-period moving average is above the last candles.
