Beyoncé has praised Madonna as a “brilliant masterpiece”.

The 40-year-old singer sent flowers and a message of appreciation to the 63-year-old pop legend following their recent collaboration on ‘Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)’ – a sample of Madonna’s 1990 classic ‘Vogue’. Beyoncé eyonce thanked Madonna for opening “so many doors” for women in the music industry.

Madonna shared a close-up of the message and a picture of the flowers on her Instagram Story.

The message read: “Thank you Queen. I am so grateful for you. You have opened so many doors for so many women. You are an amazing masterpiece. Thank you for letting me sing in your song and thank you for letting me remix it! !!!. Love always and forever, B.”

Madonna then thanked Beyoncé for the gesture and labeled them both queens with a pair of crown emojis.

She captioned her post, “Thank you!!! Queen to Queen. Love the remix!”

In ‘The Queens’ Remix, Beyoncé mimics Madonna’s classic spoken word part of ‘Vogue’ while mentioning iconic black women in the music, including Aaliyah, Nina Simone and her own sister, Solange Knowles.
