The City Council of the municipality reported that they attended to the reports that the actor was armed in his gray Jeep truck; they found him alive but he died in the hospital
A new video of the confusing death of the young actor Octavio Ocaña , the beloved “Benito” in the comedy series Neighbors , has been viralized in the last hours on social networks.
It was the journalist Luis Manuel Acevedo who shared on his Twitter account part of the monitoring made by the cameras of the “C4” of the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico to the Jeep Cherokee truck from Ocaña during its persecution in the streets of the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli .
According to a statement from the Cuautitlán Izcalli city council, the municipal police officers asked the 22-year-old actor to stop after receiving reports that he was armed ; however, Octavio would have refused and thus began his flight.

The alleged firearm that was found in Octavio’s truck

The city council indicated that the persecution ended on the Chamapa-Lechería highway (in the direction of Atizapán de Zaragoza), with the truck on a mound of earth and with Octavio Ocaña shot in the head with a firearm. They assured that he was found alive and transferred to the hospital, where he died there on October 29.

This dismayed hundreds of netizens who began to speculate about the position in which the actor’s arm was , arguing that the policemen would have “composed the scene” , since there is a moment when an element enters the passenger seat while the actor still reacts.
In this regard, the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico reported that “one of the companions has declared that the driver was carrying a firearm, which he had taken from the glove compartment of the vehicle . During the chase, the driver lost control of the unit and it crashed on the side of the road ”.
It is worth mentioning that the two men who accompanied him were transferred and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry , where an investigation folder was initiated to define responsibilities.
Octavio Pérez, father of the actor, affirmed that his son had no enemies . He reiterated that the two people who were with him were friends of his who were in charge of protecting him and that if they couldn’t do it, there were other people close to him who did.
