As Season 5 Reloaded begins to progress, the Shadowhunter R1 is one of the most unique weapons available to select as part of a loadout.
Its release marks another appearance of the classic crossbow that has appeared frequently as part of Call of Duty multiplayer since the release of the first Black Ops title.
Although it is one of the less orthodox weapons to use on the streets of Verdansk or Rebirth Island, it is a sure way to get some spectacular eliminations during a match.

Shadowhunter Crossbow R1
The R1 Shadowhunter crossbow comes with six bolts as standard, which means precision is often the key to success.
It boasts incredible accuracy when firing from the hip along with fast machine gun speeds when aiming downward, allowing it to outmaneuver any opponent who may be trying to take it down.
If you manage to hit the target, it’s an instant kill that makes the Shadowhunter one of the deadliest weapons in Warzone’s arsenal.
At longer ranges, the bullet drop is noticeable, meaning that scoring those impressive long-range snipers with a single shot is extremely difficult.

Accessories are certainly limited when it comes to equipping the crossbow.
After a bit of time testing the numerous optics available, I selected Reflex Sight for a sharp and clear view of any target in the surrounding area.

Its incredibly high damage output in close-range engagements complements the crossbow’s long-range capabilities, making it the ideal primary weapon to use in conjunction with the R1 Shadowhunter.

If you miss a crossbow shot and you’re worried a race is coming, shoot a C4 to quickly clean up your mess!

Using a stun grenade is great for slowing down enemies and making sure you hit them, as the bullet drop can be tricky to hit every shot. Not to mention, if it fails, it has a very long reload time.

Stop the rounds of power
The Shadowhunter R1 already drops an opponent with a single bolt, so selecting Stop Power Rounds is to further bolster the MP5’s firepower, allowing it to take on any opponent from further away.

EOD increases your resistance to any explosives that may be directed at you, while Overkill gives you the option of running two primary weapons.
The third and final benefit we select is Amped. This perk increases the speed of weapon swapping, allowing you to switch to the MP5 in the heat of the action to take on any approaching opponent.
