In Messages, you can mark the content that interests you the most to see it highlighted in the Shared With You section, in searches you do in Messages and in the Conversation Details view.

When you access the shared content in the corresponding app, you can also see who sent it and touch the sender to see the associated message and follow the conversation, all from the app and without having to go to Messages.

Photos shared in Messages appear automatically in the Photos app. Your library contains the images that are most important to you, such as those in which you appear. And in Para Ti, you will be able to see a wider selection of photos that have been sent to you in the new section Was Shared With You, as well as in Memories and Featured Photos.

Enjoy viewing the photos of your Messages conversations in original collections. The smallest groups of photos will be displayed in a collage, while the largest groups will be arranged in a stack so that you can switch from one to another. You can see them all in a grid and respond with a Tapback or a comment to a particular one.
Save photos easily
Saving the photos that are shared with you is as easy as touching the new save button that you will find in the Messages conversation.
SMS filters for Brazil
Messages now uses smart device technology to filter and classify promotional, transactional, and spam SMS. So your inbox will be much more orderly.

When you’re setting up Focus, your device’s smart technology uses your activity history to suggest apps and people whose notifications you may not want to turn off.

Get smart suggestions on which Approach to choose based on contextual information like your location or time of day.
Create a Custom Approach to filter notifications based on what you’re doing at the moment. Choose an icon for your Custom Focus and name it whatever you want.
Focus on all your devices
When you use Focus, the functionality is automatically activated on other devices you have as well.
Home screen page adapted to Focus
Define a specific home screen page for Focus and organize your apps and widgets so that you can only see relevant apps to avoid potential distractions. The page will appear when you activate Focus and everything else will be hidden.
Select the notifications of apps or people that you want to receive without losing focus on what you do.
Contacts who are not included in the notifications you allow for a certain Focus will know that your notifications are muted. This status appears when someone tries to contact you via Messages in order to avoid interruptions.
Automatic responses when driving
Activate automatic replies for your contacts when they send you messages while using Focus to Drive. And customize them however you want.
If someone has turned on the status that notifications are muted by Focus, you can still send an urgent message. If you are the recipient, you can prevent an app or person from ignoring this restriction.
In third-party messaging apps, developers can use your status to show your contacts that you are unavailable.
New look for notifications
Notifications have a new look that shows the larger contact photos and app icons.
Receive a useful summary of your notifications every day, in the morning and at night, or at the time you prefer. Notifications are so smart that they are automatically sorted by priority, with the most important ones at the top, so you can get up to speed quickly.
You can temporarily silence any app or message conversation, either for an hour or for the whole day.
Tips to mute
If a conversation is busy and you are not participating, you will receive a suggestion to mute it.
Communication app notifications now include photos of your contacts to make it easier to identify them.
Urgent Notifications are always delivered immediately so you don’t miss important alerts, like a fraud warning, a notice of a car that is parked outside, or a reminder that you need to go find your kids.
The new notifications API for developers will allow them to automatically send Urgent Notifications and apply the new design for those that come from people.

Now it is easier to discover incredible places thanks to the new Collection of Guides, a place with specially selected content where you can find Guides and places that you will love.
When searching for places like restaurants, you can filter your search results based on the type of food and whether it can be ordered to go. In addition, you can choose if you only want to see places that are open at that precise moment. When you move around the map when doing a search, Maps will automatically update the results.
Maps users will find their most used settings in one place, such as preferred mode of transportation, reported issues, favorites, and much more.

Touch to pause, play the last photo, move to the next, or advance; the music will continue to play and the timing will be adjusted so that the transitions follow the rhythm. Detailed information panel
Swipe up on a photo or tap the new info button to see details about the photo, such as camera, lens and shutter speed, file size, or who sent it in Shared with You via Messages. You can also edit the date it was taken or the location, add a subtitle and get information about the elements detected by the Visual Query functionality.
Faster initial sync of iCloud Photos library

You can view trend analysis in someone’s health data that has been shared with you, and easily start a conversation about changes in their health by sharing a view of the trend data through Messages.
Trend analysis in the Health app lets you quickly see how certain health metrics are progressing, whether they are increasing or decreasing over time. You can choose to be notified when a new trend is detected in your health data.
Walking Stability on iPhone is a revolutionary health measure that gives you information on the risk of falling. Use custom algorithms that assess your balance, strength, and gait. You can choose to be notified when your walking stability is low or very low. Also learn how to improve your stability with specially selected exercises. 4
Privacy Protection in Mail
It helps protect your privacy by preventing senders from obtaining information about your activity in Mail. If you decide to activate it, this functionality hides your IP address so that senders cannot link it to your other online activities or know your location. Also, it prevents them from being able to see if you opened the emails they sent you.
App Privacy Report
A section in Settings allows you to see how often apps have accessed your location, photos, camera, microphone, and contacts in the last seven days. It also shows you which apps have contacted other domains and when they last contacted. This is a good complement to the privacy label of the app, so that you know for sure how your privacy is treated. 5

Developers can allow you to paste content from another app without having access to what you copied until you decide to grant it to them.

Connect more security cameras than ever before to record, analyze, and review videos in the Home app. iCloud will automatically store your recordings in an end-to-end encrypted format, so only you and the people you choose can see it. Tags are a fast and flexible way to classify and organize your notes. Add one or more tags by writing them directly on the note, such as #activities or #cooking.

Custom Smart Folders
Custom Smart Folders automatically collect notes in one place based on labels.
See what others have put in your shared note while you were gone. The new Activity View shows you a summary of the changes since the last time you checked the note and a daily list of each person’s activity.
Swipe right anywhere in a shared note to see who made changes and the edit date and time, with text highlighted in different colors for each contributor.
Using mentions in shared notes or folders makes collaboration more interactive, direct, and contextualized. Write the @ symbol followed by a contributor’s name anywhere in your note, to send them notifications of important updates and a link to the note.

Generate the necessary verification codes for a more secure login. Create your own Smart Lists to automatically include your most important reminders by selecting them based on labels, dates, times, locations, indicators, and priority. You can choose more than one tag, like #gardening and #shopping, and combine them with other filters to get more specific lists.

Use the quick options to easily delete completed reminders.
Improved natural language support
Write more advanced phrases to define reminder settings. Try something like “Jog every other morning” to set a specific, recurring reminder.

Screen Time API
Developers can use the Screen Time API in parental controls apps to include support for a wider variety of parenting tools. This API offers developers key functionalities such as basic restrictions and control of device activity, always prioritizing privacy.
Time Schedule Disabled
When you schedule a Time Off, only the phone calls and apps of your choice are available. You will receive a reminder five minutes before the Off Time period begins, which will run until the end of the day.
iOS can give you the option to choose between two software update versions in the Settings app. You can install the latest version of iOS 15 when it is available to enjoy the new features and the most comprehensive set of security updates.
