A physical education teacher has been arrested at Doral Charter Primary School following allegations of misconduct with a student.
Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez, 37, was arrested on Monday on charges that include promoting a child’s sexual development, crimes against students by an authority, among others.
Ramirez-Martinez was employed part-time as security personnel and a physical education teacher at Downtown Doral Charter School.
According to the report, Ramirez-Martinez approached two 16-year-old college students to ask them an obscene question.
He then took them to a private place to “do what they wanted”, which they understood to mean having sex.
He told the students they could “do it” while he waited in another room that had two windows.
One of the teens performed a sex act while Ramirez-Martinez recorded them with his phone, according to the report.
Minutes later, video shows him approaching the door and giving a thumbs up before punching one of the teens, according to the court order.
The next day, Ramirez-Martinez approached one of the teenagers and told her that he had seen what she had done to the other teenager and that he wanted her to do it to him, as per the order. of the court.
Ramírez-Martínez continued to approach the teenager to perform a sexual act with him, but she repeatedly refused.
When he threatened the other teen that they were having sex if she didn’t have sex with him, she reported the incident to the school, as per the court order.
The school principal said in a statement that as soon as they learned of the allegations, they immediately reported them to Doral police.
Ramírez-Martínez was jailed and held on $40,000 bail on Tuesday, records show. Attorney information was not available.
