The Mega Millions jackpot is still looking for a lucky winner and after rising to $1.35 billion it has become the second largest jackpot in the history of this lottery; The next draw has an additional element that can be considered good luck for some, since it is also played on Friday the 13th
The Mega Millions jackpot grew again and now totals $1.350 million dollars that will look for a lucky winner this Friday the 13th, when a new draw is held.
On Tuesday, none of the thousands of players around the United States matched the six numbers needed to win the jackpot, which at the time was $1.1 billion.
The Mega Millions winning numbers for the January 10 draw were: 7, 13, 14, 15 and 18, plus the golden Mega Ball with the number 9, according to the results of the last draw on Tuesday.
“The jackpot has increased again, keeping all Mega Millions fans on their toes for another draw,” Ohio Lottery Director Pat McDonald, Principal Director of the Mega Millions Consortium, said in a statement.
“Now, at $1.35 billion, the Mega Millions jackpot is rising and making history as the second-highest jackpot in Mega Millions history,” he added after learning no player matched all six winning numbers.
The largest ever Mega Millions jackpot to date was won on October 23, 2018 in South Carolina and was for a game record $1.537 million, an amount close to the current drawing.
A cabalistic date to play Mega Millions
The Mega Millions lottery is preparing for a new draw that will be organized on a date that can be considered good or bad luck by millions of players: Friday the 13th.
However, in the case of Mega Millions, Friday the 13th is a lucky date for its players, since throughout its history six jackpots have been won on this day, a statement said.
But not only that, Mega Millions players in Michigan have been particularly lucky in the draws that take place on Friday the 13th, as of the six jackpots won on this date, four have fallen in this state.
According to Mega Millions records, the top prizes won on Friday the 13th occurred in June 2008, 2011 Major, June 2014 and October 2017, when a winner shared the prize with another person in Rhode Island.
