Zelensky expressed concern about the “difficult” situation in the Bahkmut region

The President of Ukraine, Volodomir Zelenskyassured that the situation in Bakhmut, a strategic town in the Donestk region surrounded by the Russians for weeks, “is becoming more and more difficult”.

“Our warriors who defend the Bakhmut sector are true heroes”added the Ukrainian leader in his usual evening speech, in which he was also “grateful to each and every one of the people who heroically support this leadership and other leaderships in Donbass.”

In his, Zelensky said he was “constantly in touch” with their military commanders in the region and that the Donetsk region, in the east of the country, deserved “special attention”.

“In the direction of Bakhmut, the situation is becoming more and more difficult. The enemy is constantly destroying anything that can be used to protect our positions.to gain a foothold and secure the defense,” Zelensky said.
