A human detective and a fairy rekindle a dangerous adventure in a Victorian fantasy world, where the town’s uneasy peace crumbles when a series of murders reveals an unimaginable monster.

Carnival Row is an original Prime Video fiction, featuring Orlando Bloom y Cara Delevingne. It debuted in 2019 and its second installment had already been substantially renewed some time ago, but it faced delays due to the pandemic. The first season has started Telling that in the dark and futuristic neo-Victorian town of Burge, a series of events will merge dark fantasy with reality. “Burge became a haven for fantastical creatures who fled their respective war-torn worlds. But everything will get complicated when a dangerous serial killer starts hunting non-humans,” explains part of its synopsis. There, police inspector Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom) will be responsible for investigating the latest case: the murder of a singer. And while you try not to get personally involved in the process, you’ll soon find that it’s not easy to separate feelings from work.

What Carnival Row’s Second Season Brings

For this occasion, the fantasy series focuses on detective Rycroft himself and the fairy Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne), who find themselves on a dangerous adventure in a Victorian fantasy world, where the peace of the city crumbles when the monster unimaginable turns out. the murders that took place.
