With marches and the installation of tents, the measures of force of the piqueteros against the government begin on Monday

Faced with the PASO elections in August, the Piquetera Unit launches a plan to fight against the government of Alberto Fernandez with a list of complaints that will be impossible realization. “This national piquetero plenary declares that its central fight is for real work, without precariousness and under agreement. This is the main objective of the organizations of the unemployed. We defend every productive enterprise as part of the struggle for survival and not as a terminus for the existence of the working class,” they argued following the vote and unanimous approval of the measures.

After the extreme measure of the three-day camp, the piqueteros assure that they will begin to develop a national campaign “convening all sectors of the labor and popular movement that are ready to fight against the adjustment and the policy of capitalist rage of the Fernández government , summoning itself to hold assemblies, meetings and plenary sessions in all the districts, to carry out a Great Piquetero March that ends with caravans of mobilization from the four cardinal points”.

Before that, on March 24, the left-wing organizations will march “independently with the coordinator Encuentro Memoria, Verdad y Justicia” for the 30,000 detained-disappeared comrades, against the repression and criminalization of struggles and government adjustment and of the International Monetary Fund.

Monday, from 10 a.m., the true strength of the “piquetero struggle plan” that promises to take to the streets of Buenos Aires and 134 other cities in the country will be known.
