What are Class A licenses and what vehicles can you drive?

This official document issued by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) There are 6 types: one basic (A1) and the other professional. To get the first, you must meet certain characteristics and pass the tests that are required of you. AI License: It is the most common and allows you to drive cars such as sedans, coupes, hatchbacks, convertibles, station wagons, SUVs, wagons, pickups and vans. All other Class A licenses are required.

License A-IIa: Same as A-1 and also official passenger transport cars such as taxis, buses, ambulances and interprovincial transport. First you need to get the AI ​​license.

A1 license

To obtain this license, it is sufficient to be of legal age (18) or over the age of 16, but with an official title allowing him to exercise a profession or trade, with the full capacity of his civil rights. AIIIa license: At least 2 years with the AIIb license and at least 24 years old.

AIIIc license: At least 4 years with the AIIb license or 1 year with the AIIIa or AIIIb license and at least 27 years old.
