In the middle of last year, Chief Vick, as it is known in the United States, has moved its restaurant to Venice Beach, Los Angeles. And soon after settling there, it received acclaim from the press, the public and its peers, to the point that it was honored as the best new restaurant in the city of Los Angeles. This is a prestigious prize, which has been awarded to some of the best chefs in the world and represents a seal of distinction for their career.

But as part of this path of transformation, Victoria has taken a new turn in her life and is looking for new horizons. He decided it was time to end his relationship with pachamama and so he communicated it in a heartfelt post on his Instagram account.

Victoria moved first to San Diego and then to Los Angeles.

“Throughout my life, there are few times when I have stopped to look back and appreciate all that I have achieved,” Victoria says, in a retrospective in which she expressed “immeasurable gratitude” to those who, directly or indirectly, have been part of this path. “My valued employees, clients who have become friends and other entrepreneurs with whom I have had the honor and the pleasure of working and learning. To my family, my friends, my teachers, my team of chefs and cooks, my customers and, above all, to Mother Earth,” he listed.

“Six years ago, pachamama it was just a dream growing in my mind, a vision that grew clearer and more defined day by day. I dreamed about it, imagined what it would look like, and worked tirelessly to perfect it in my head. But today, thank God, it is a reality that has far exceeded my expectations,” continued the chef about her experience in the kitchen.

The text was accompanied by a video with some of the moments that marked his adventure pachamama. “I feel a wave of emotions that overwhelms me. On the one hand, an indescribable joy in seeing all that we have achieved, and on the other, a warm nostalgia in remembering where I come from”, he expressed.

And then he spoke of his rebirth in the country of the North: “Starting from scratch in an unknown country, in an unknown industry, and fighting to survive after a global cancellation was not an easy task”, he said. he admitted. Finally, he spoke about his future: “Today, I am closing a chapter in the life of my dear Pachamama concept, but at the same time, I am convinced that the new owners will continue their mission and their original vision. I say goodbye today with a heart full of gratitude and pride for leading a unique and wonderful gastronomic concept. The restaurant’s new owners plan to bring their food and concept to different parts of the United States. For her part, the former model will continue to deepen her studies in gastronomy.
