The International Monetary Fund published the October 2021 edition of the Global Economic Outlook Report with the title “Recovery during the pandemic: health problems, supply cuts and price pressures.”
The report noted that the global economic recovery continues, and that the recovery has been interrupted and lost momentum due to the coronavirus (Covid-19).
And he stated that the world economy is expected to grow 5.9 percent in 2021 and 4.9 percent in 2022.
According to the IMF report, Turkey’s economic growth forecast for 2021 was raised from 5.8 percent to 9 percent, while the growth expectation for 2022 remained constant at 3.3 percent.
