There are more than 40 vaccination sites that will work this Sunday in Metropolitan Lima with the aim of people completing their vaccination scheme.

A new outbreak of infections by COVID-19 has raised alarms in the health of Peruvians. That is why the Ministry of Health (Minsa) urges citizens to complete their vaccination scheme at the more than 40 inoculation points in Metropolitan Lima.

Peruvians must take into account that people can be vaccinated from months of life according to Ministerial Resolution No. 704-2022 Minsa.

FACT: The Minsa announced that all health centers and posts also have staff and material to apply the vaccine against COVID-19.

To access the vaccine, all persons must be duly identified with their ID. If you access with a minor who is in your charge, it will be necessary to show an official document of the infant. These can be: birth certificate, vaccination card, proof of notes or baptismal certificate.

How do I know when my fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is due?

You only have to take into account the minimum times established by the Minsa to continue with the Minsa vaccination scheme.

– People over 18 years of age must wait a minimum of 5 months from their third dose.

– People with comorbidity aged 18 years and over can apply the fourth dose after 5 months from the third dose.

– Adults over 60 years of age and older must receive the fourth dose after 4 months from the application of the third vaccine against COVID-19.

– Immunosuppressed patients may request their fourth dose from 5 months onwards.

Impact of COVID-19 until December 11 in Peru

The situation of the Covid-19 pandemic seems to grow more these days. Hospitals continue to receive citizens who have contracted this virus.

According to information published by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), only on Friday, December 9, it was detected that 2,166 people tested positive for the coronavirus disease after the discard tests carried out.

The Minsa report also mentions that seven patients died of the disease that same day.

On the other hand, it was confirmed that 18 people managed to overcome the symptoms of Covid-19, for which they have been discharged from the health establishments where they had been receiving the necessary medical attention.
