Felipe Chávez, a promising youngster from Bayern Munich, has made his debut for the Peruvian U-17 side.

The work of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) scouting area continues to bear fruit. This time Philip Chavezyoung promise of Bayern Munich and who had a stint with the German team, made his debut with the ‘bicolor’ friendly with Ecuador.

Chávez is not the only one who plays abroad who has been considered by Peru for the friendly match with Ecuador, the goalkeeper Juan-Pedro Duran from the EU Cornellá of Spain was the starter, while Matias Barboza Arsenal’s Sarandí of Argentina was on the substitutes’ bench.

On the other hand, he is not the first Bayern Munich player with roots. ‘Inca’ which is followed previously, Matteo Perezwho works as a winger, was considered an option to join the national team, however, he has decided, for the time being, to represent Sweden.

There ‘Red and white’ completed another warm-up match for South America, which will take place on Ecuadorian soil. Despite a loss at the start, the national team reacted and managed to equalize the score with a goal by Bascco Soyer, a member of the minor divisions of Alianza Lima.

This important event will begin on Thursday March 30 and end on Sunday April 23. Peru is one of the ten participating teams and is in Group B, where it will face Argentina, Paraguay, Venezuela and Bolivia.

The top three from each South American Under-17 series will advance to the hexagonal final, where only four teams will qualify for the World Cup in the category. This will take place in Peru and will run from November 10 to December 2.
