The impact of artificial intelligence on human rights, democracy and the rule of law , with a view to building a future respectful of human beings , is the theme of the high-level event which takes place will take place on Monday April 4th. This is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and co-organized by the Italian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and by the Council of Europe within the framework of the activities of the semester of the Italian Presidency.

The meeting, which will take place at the Farnesina Palace, will begin with speeches by Undersecretary of State Benedetto Della Vedova and Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe Bjơrn Berge, and then by the President of the Parliamentary Intergroup on Intelligence. artificial, Alessandro Fusacchia. The talks will be led by Paola Pisano (scientific expert with Minister Luigi Di Maio for the digital economy and evolution).

The conclusions will provide an in-depth analysis and framework, intended to guide the work of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAI), whose inaugural session will also be held at Palazzo Farnesina from Monday afternoon and until Wednesday April 6.
