A serious complaint of physical assault against a citizen was recently made public thanks to social networks. The case, which quickly went viral, is that of coleus champion who hit a woman hard.
The moment was captured on video Raul Ricardo Daza, Known to be a world coleus champion, he physically assaulted two people in what is believed to be a public facility in Fortul, Arauca.
Although there are no clear details about the cause of the fight, what is evident is the abuse of the subject, apparently with the cashier at the establishment where alcoholic drinks are apparently distributed and other citizens who were there.
“Make people pay what you have to make them pay, badly. If this triple son of a bitch has to put up with a pain in the ass, then I’ll put up with him. I don’t care if it’s his sister,” the champion kicker said minutes before punching the woman.
In the midst of verbal attacks, a man intervened in defense of the victim of abuse. At that moment, the subject jumped on Raúl Ricardo Daza, who received it with his fists.
Subsequently, the citizen who was initially the victim of abuse tried to intervene, which was when the coleus champion violently beat her. Daza punched the woman, knocked her to the ground and also kicked her several times.
One of the kicks the coleus champ gave the woman was in the face. Then other witnesses to the attack intervened to evacuate the victim from the establishment, while they tried to control the attacker.
One of the people who denounced this unfortunate fact is the senator of the Historic Pact, Esmeralda Hernández.
Through her social networks, the deputy asked the office of the Attorney General to open an investigation into this act of gender-based violence in which the aggressor is fully identified.
“This savage hit, kicked and insulted a woman in Arauca. His name is Raúl Ricardo Daza and he is coleo world champion. I ask @FiscaliaCol to find her before it becomes another feminicide in Colombia,” the senator wrote on her Twitter account.
Among the rejection comments made by Internet users in Hernández’s publication, that of a user who assures that it is not a separate fact stands out.
According to the Internet user’s message, in Arauca, Mr. Raúl Daza is well known for being a violent person. Likewise, he assured that it is not very common for someone to confront him as the victimized woman and her brother did.
“Llanero, yes, I am a llanero parent. Those of us who have lived in Arauca know the violent behavior of this character, untouchable there. What is strange is that someone dared to file a complaint…”, reads the message of the Twitter user.
Many other comments questioned his actions and linked him to the activity in which he devotes himself. “If he abuses animals, it’s no wonder he does it with a human. Woman abuser. Raúl Ricardo Daza,” the post read.
On the other hand, local media have assured that associations dedicated to the defense of women’s rights in Arauca have already spoken. These movements would demand that the authorities act on the matter so that this case of gender violence does not go unpunished.
