When making your way through the Maelstrom quest in Destiny 2. You can find this quest while playing on Neptune after completing the Lightfall campaign once. You can get it by talking to Quinn in the Hall of Heroes, and one of those tasks will connect you to the Strand sources, which you can find during the Vex raid zone. This area varies in addition to tracing these sources from the Strand to connect. Here’s what you need to know about how to link and find Strand Sources in Destiny 2.

How to Find Strand Sources to Link to in Destiny 2

The Strand sources you need to find will be similar to the ones you used during the Lightfall campaign. These will have a central green glow and should be scattered around the map, giving you access to the Strand subclass. At this point, you should already have Strand unlocked on your character, but it amplifies your current abilities, giving you a huge power surge for your Super and other abilities when you use it.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to track down Strand sources that you can connect to. No location is defined on the map for these locations to appear; they don’t appear if you bring your Ghost. Instead, you’ll need to go around the Vex raid area and locate them. You can locate the Vex raid area based on the raid icon on the map and the various lines running through it. Currently, as shown on the map, the Vex Raid Zone is located in Liming Port.

The Maelstrom quest is complete when you find at least two of these Strand Links. However, these Strand links will still appear after this quest, and you can use them while playing Neptune to improve your Strand abilities.
