SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea has launched a sea-test ballistic missile in the east of the country, South Korean officials said.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the launch took place on Tuesday morning, but gave no further details, including the distance traveled by the missile.
A day earlier, North Korea said it had tested two cruise missiles from a submarine.
The tests came after the US and South Korean militaries began their largest combined military drills in years on Monday.
