President Joe Biden’s visit to Southern Nevada will cause a series of highway delays.
“Air Force One will arrive in Las Vegas tomorrow – Tuesday evening,” the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) said in a tweet.
They added that drivers may encounter traffic as the presidential motorcade winds through Las Vegas.
For its part, Harry Reid International Airport has recommended that “if you are going to fly, please allow plenty of time to get to the airport. We suggest 3 hours before your scheduled departure.”

- Tuesday, March 14, 2023:
Between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., we anticipate complete closures for:
airport connector
215 westbound
I-15 northbound between 215 and US 95.
US 95 northbound between Spaghetti Bowl and Summerlin Parkway
Summerlin Parkway (both ways)
- Between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.:
Summerlin Parkway is at US 95
I-15 southbound in station corridor
- Wednesday, March 15, 2023:
12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Maryland Parkway from Tropicana to Russell. The airport connector will also be closed.
The authorities have indicated that changes may occur, so they ask that official sources be kept on hold pending updates.
On the other hand, Biden is expected to come to town to push a drug pricing agenda.
