Rain of criticism from Roy Barreras for his new party, Fuerza de la Paz: “We cannot recycle the old politics”

The pre-candidates will then have to compete with the other pre-candidates from each sector of the Pact. But the names of the politicians he will support have generated unknowns and questions from other sectors of Petrism, since some come from politicians who were at the time part of traditional and historically right-wing parties, very different from what the government movement represents. and what they want to see their supporters in power.

On the list are: Berner Zambrano (La U), Jorge Rey (Radical Change), Dumek Turbay (Liberal), Jorge Eduardo Rojas (National Salvation), among others. Also, names such as Carlos Felipe Córdoba, Dilian Francisca Toro and Rodrigo Lara, to whom I send a message of support during the event.

In this sense, the messages of criticism in the networks did not wait for the politicians who previously expressed their marked differences with Barriers. One of those who spoke on their networks was gustavo bolivarwho is a former senator and possible candidate for mayor of Bogotá on behalf of Human Colombia.

In a video he shared on Twitter and accompanied by a message, he said: “I came into politics to fight the corrupt, not to ally with them. If the new party supports those who led the country into corruption, genocide and inequality, let’s not continue to talk about change. The Historic Pact must decide whether they are welcome here or not”.

Added to another trill, he added: “The heroic people of Cali did not shout in the streets ‘Long live Dilian Francisca Toro’ The young people of Cali who lost their lives, their eyes, their freedom shouted: no more corruption ! The Historical Pact must do a thorough analysis of October support. You must respect the victims!

Along the same lines, Speaker of the House of Representatives David Racero pointed out that in the process they called change, there is no going back to practices or anything that reminds us of the previous way of doing politics by traditional methods politicians. .

“The Historic Pact will have the challenge of consolidating the grand front before the October elections, but without losing the agenda for change. We are aware that we are a country project, not just a leftist project. But we can’t recycle old politics,” Racero noted.

For now, Barreras himself has assured that these are just names that will have to compete with other people for these places, but anger continues to grow among supporters and members of the movement.
