This March 13 Johanna San Miguel referred to the damage caused by Cyclone Yaku. The climatic phenomenon that generated intense rains on the northern coast of Peru has affected thousands of families, destroying their homes and taking with them dozens of human lives. Huaicos, floods and river overflows occur in more than 15 regions of the country, including Lima.

The TV host took advantage of the cameras ‘It’s the war’ to call on the Peruvian authorities to take care of people who find themselves homeless to sleep. The actress began by sending her best wishes to the victims of the capital.

“Greetings to all the northerners who aren’t having a good time. The situation is really very complicated, I want you to know that we are thinking of you and we send you our best wishes,” he said. Johanna San Miguelto then point out that a similar situation has been going on for several years and that there is no solution.

Let’s hope this happens and that the authorities take action on the matter because these are things that are repeated year after year and we do not see any solutions. Take care of this situation now. The regions receive an amount and each year we see the same thing. These floods that spoil all agriculture, rivers, homes, people…”, he said.

“Now there are people dying and houses buried in mud. Every year it’s the same and nobody does anything. We don’t deserve this, no part of our country deserves the authorities to pocket their money and do nothing for the people who need it. Enough!” he added.
